Email AddressResearch InterestsAs a practicing Jungian Analyst who teaches courses in a Religious Studies Department, I am particularly intereested in the phenomena of soul, the nocturnal dream as religious experience, religion as myth, a psychoanalytic understanding of religious conformity and doubt, the importance of blasphemy and heresy in religious experience. My focus of research has to do with Jungian and post-Jungian contributions to the study of religion, particularly the archetypal/imaginal psychology of James Hillman and the depth/imaginal/archetypal theology and religious understandings of David L. Miller.
