Email AddressResearch InterestsA long-standing research interest focuses on the process of religious conversion and its consequences, including its effect on the life meaning and redirection. Other research interests include various relationships between religiousness and spiritual well-being and with mental and physical health outcome measures. Of special interest is the question of what happens to people's thinking when they are confronted with information inconsistent with deeply-held beliefs. These are approached from a general experimental social psychological orientation.
